Client focus: The Small Awards

Last week was The Small Awards – an event that celebrates wonderful small businesses throughout the UK.

The awards are in their second year and are the brainchild of Michelle Ovens, MBE the founder of Peak B who runs campaigns including Small Business Saturday, F:Entrepreneur and Do It Digital. I have been lucky to work with Michelle on most of her campaigns, all of which have an unyielding passion for supporting and celebrating small business owners.

Michelle asked me to help deliver a successful awards ceremony and I’m pleased to say we did just that; the atmosphere was so positive and full of support and happiness. During the event, I ensured it was captured perfectly on social media and conducted all the Facebook Live interviews with the winners and judges – have a watch here if you fancy. And we even got featured on Paris Hilton’s Twitter page – go figure?!
