Why Choose Me?2018-05-29T11:03:07+00:00

I have been lucky enough to have worked with a variety of commercially successful brands and sole business owners on some amazing marketing activity, with award-winning results.

From hosting a secret rave in the woods for 1,000 people at a festival to seeing my ideas up in lights in Piccadilly Circus; from accompanying a fabulous business owner to collect an award for their brand to seeing another clued-up business reach their first 1,000 followers on Instagram. Mammoth or mini, a dream’s a dream and dreams can come true – I’ve seen it.

I love nothing more than seeing brands achieve the success they deserve and I fully understand that truly knowing your brand coupled with a dedicated marketing plan is integral to that success.

So a bit about me.

Originally from the north, I trained to be journalist (after completing a very ill-advised Law degree) and went on to write for the Metro newspaper and then edit a fashion trade magazine. In 2008, I made the leap from journalism to marketing and moved to London, working for brands including Diesel, Fenchurch and PRS for Music.

I started my own business three years ago and have worked with an array of brands including Glastonbury, Small Business Saturday, D.A.D and Standard Issue, as well as a large number of smaller businesses on their marketing, branding and event needs.

I am a public speaker and regularly speak on a range of marketing topics and have hosted events at The School of Life, founded the Brand Beautiful workshop series for business owners and co-founded the monthly business networking event, Spark. I sit on the board of the BelEve charity and when I manage to grab some spare time I love exploring London Town and trying (and failing!) to get my first book written.

“Karen came on board and took us to a new level with her marketing, writing and event management skills. A pleasure to work with – she really does impact brands for the better.”

Kyn Taylor, D.A.D

“Straight away Karen felt like a friend. She is so resourceful and her network base is brilliant and she came up with a winning plan even during our first conversation.”

Sofia Olins, Lost In Vagueness

“Karen is indeed inspiring – she is a joy to work with, always smiling and positive, and always right on it! I would definitely recommend working with this formidable lady.”

Michelle Ovens, M.B.E, Small Business Saturday / f:Entrepreneur

“Always professional and diligent, but equally creative and innovative, Karen is a great to work with – a brilliant organiser and always operates with great integrity.”

Simon Boyd, Festival No.6

“After just one meeting with Karen I immediately felt the benefits of her marketing expertise; she helped me plan the development of a new product and helped me build brand awareness through her contacts and industry knowledge.”

Emily Garland, Maid of Gingerbread

“The Brand Beautiful workshop was an amazing experience; I still can’t quite believe how much we covered in one day. It was a truly inspiring and I have already gained so much.”
